Torah Tidbits in the PALM of your hand - Technology serving Torah

THE website for Jewish things for the Palm is PilotYid (www.pilotyid.com). They have a great collection of software waiting to be downloaded. Some are shareware and some are freeware. You can find calendars, Hebrew texts, English texts, davening in Hebrew and in transliterated form. Torah, Tanach, Mishna, Rambam, Tanya, Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, halachic guides. Some programs require Hebrew support, others don't. Some documents require specific readers, others can be read by any reader. In addition to text documents, you can find dictionaries, viewers, some games, a g'matriya calculator, other applications of interest, plus some of the utilities needed by some of the other software. This way, PILOTYID becomes a one-stop site for the Jewish stuff available for the Palm. You can even download Kosher restaurant guides for several locations on this globe we call Earth.
