[23] The stones of the Mizbei'ach that had been defiled
by the Greeks were removed from the Beit HaMikdash. The
day was designated as a festival by Megilat Taanit.  American Jewish Committee was established, 1906, to prevent the infraction of civil rights and religious rights of Jews, to alleviate the consequences of persecution,to give relif from calamities affecting Jews. Carmiel was established in 1964 in an attempt to increase Jewish population of the Galil.

[24] Rabbi Uri Shraga b. Eliyahu HaKohen martyred in
Cracow 1677. Baron Edmond de Rothschild died 1934.

[25] Riotous mobs attack Jews in Cracow 1407. (note

[26] First Jewish wedding in Argentina 1860. Herzlia
founded 1924. Nazis execute 12,000 Jews in Minsk, 1938.

[27] No'ach and company left the Teiva. U.S. agreed not
to protest Swiss discrimination against American Jews and ratified a commercial treaty permitting such, 1855. (Note the two countries mentioned!)

[28] Anti-Jewish riots, many deaths, Bucharest, 1593.  The Jewish Chronicle, oldest Anglo-Jewish paper, 1841. Jews' College, London, 1855.

[29] Israel captured Khan Yunis to complete conquest of
the Gaza Strip, 1956.

[30] Jews who had fled New York City in 1776 because of
revolutionary sympathies were able to return in 1783 after the retreat of the British.
