 Parshat
B'ha'a'lo't'cha

Once again, I'm going with last year's ParshaPix. It's a good
one. The Menora in the upper right corner starts off the sedra. Next to it is a pair of
jeans. I couldn't resist going with the LEVIS, as in Levi'im. Makes a good visual riddle
for your Shabbat guests and family. The lamb labeled 2 is for Pesach Sheni. Good topics
for discussion with the whole idea of a second chance, sort of. Upper left are two silver
trumpets. One row down from right to left is a cloud with an arrow indicating that it is
moving. That means (equals) a green light for Bnei Yisrael to travel. The four different
colored flags stand for the four camps that traveledtogether. Quail is quail.
Straightforward. Snowflake under that is a bit tougher - Miriam's punishment was TZORA'AT,
white as snow. Good for a discussion on watching what one says, even benign comments. The
smiling watermelon in the thought bubble is for the people who claimed fond memories of
the food in Egypt (including AVATI'ACH). The Aron is for the two ARON p'sukim between the
backwards NUNs.
