Last Week's PPP (Chukat)

All elements of this PPP were taken from the names of the travels recorded after the Song of the Well. From the Midbar, desert, dessert - the plate of cake - to Matana, gift - fountain pen, as in Bar Mitzva classic - to Nachliel - the bird is a Nachlieli - to Bamot, high places, bama, bima - stage - to Hagai, which I tookon its drash level as The Gai - the guy pulling the guy wire to steady the tightrope. A bit of a stretch, but...

Steinhart is back with a vengence, hitting all 5 of my elements and adding Rosh HaPisga with the head climbing the rope to the summit. Big Deal gift awaits you in my office. Give me a call.

And here's the Korach radio riddle... Take one letter away from a bracha and get something that relates to Parshat Korach and this week's perek. Take the REISH from BOREI PRI HAADAMA and you get BOREI PI HAADAMA as in G-d's creating the mouth of the Earth - parshat Korach and 5th perek of Avot.

The introduction to the 6th perek of Avot is a bracha to G-d for choosing our sages and their teachings. Even though one can and should learn different things from all people, one should have as a regular teacher only someone who lives a Torah life and is a good example, not just a teacher.
