MITZVOT

Acharei: 28 of the 613 mitzvot; 2 positive, 26 prohibitions

K'doshim: 51 mitzvot; 13 positive, 38 prohibitions

Only 5 sedras are shorter than K'doshim. But its mitzva content is amazing. It averages 4/5 of a mitzva per pasuk. Or one mitzva every 1.25 p'sukim. No other sedra is as packed with mitzvot as K'doshim is.

The 79 mitzvot of Acharei-K'doshim are the most for any Shabbat.

It is significant that in addition to the 51 mitzvot, as counted by the Rambam, the Chinuch, and others, there are an additional 25-30 mitzvot mentioned in K'doshim, but counted elsewhere in the Torah. Which means that the "Mitzva Density" of K'doshim is even greater than its number one ranked value of 796 mitzvot per kilo-pasuk.
