Special Features for Parshas Pinchas ALBUM OF THE WEEK Here's the story. Each week we will feature a different CD/cassette from Noam Productions. We'll write a little about it and there will be a Dvar Torah about one of the songs, audio and/or in print. On Torah Tidbits Audio (Arutz-7, Thursday night 10:08ish-11:00pm, 97.3 and 97.1 FM) we'll play a song or two. The album will be the prize for the Parsha Riddle on TT- Audio AND it will be the new prize for the best PPP solution of the week. This is an experiment in general and especially for PPP, which until now was a contest whose prizes were satisfaction and notoriety. PPP solvers are recommended to submit their solutions SHELO AL M'NAT L'KABEIL PRAS, even though there will IY"H be a prize for the best overall submission. Last week, Asher Arbit had the best set of PPP solutions and becomes the first winner of the Album of the Week (CD) in that category. AA, please be in touch with me by phone (538-4206) to find out how to receive your prize. Runners-up are the Rehovot Ks. Call me. Last week on Torah Tidbits Audio, Kalman Ehrlich became the first AW-CD winner in the radio category. This week's album of the week is Noam Production's DEDI
- BITCHU BASHEM. There are nine songs on the album, one of which I will be playing
on TTA. This song, I feel, fits the Three Weeks. It is a beautiful rendition of Abie
Rottenberg's ACHEINU. On Monday and Thursday mornings, only when Tachanun is said,
after Torah reading but before the Torah is returned to the Aron, the Chazan says a series
of four short prayers, each beginning with "May it be the Will of Avinu
She'bashamayim". These prayers ask G-d to restore the Beit HaMikdash and return His
Divine Presence to us, to have mercy on the Jewish people and protect us, to preserve the
sages of Israel, their families, and their students, and that we may hear good news and
see the gather ing of the exiles. Noam Productionsalbums, and many, many other CDs and
cassettes spanning the range of Jewish music are available at Noam Productions Music
