Rabbi Asher Brander

Rabbi Asher Brander is Rabbi of the Westwood Kehilla, Founder/Dean of the LINK (Los Angeles INtercommunity) Kollel, and has been a long time High School Rebbe. He received his B.A. in Computer Science from Yeshiva University in 1989, his Ordination from RIETS in 1991 and completed an M.A. in Jewish Secondary Education from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate Institute through the Block Fellowship. Rabbi Brander lectures throughout the Los Angeles community and the country and is a frequent contributor to various newspapers and Torah journals. A New York native, he and his wife Batyah and their three children have been living in Los Angeles since 1990. A forthcoming book of his Parsha Reflections is due out in January 2011
