why do we encourage children to ask questions on passover and not on the other holidays like shevuos and succohs .don't you think they have questions on these holidays also thank you

Thank you for your question. I have to be brief, being Erev Pesach, but I didn't want to leave it until after.

I can think of two reasons. One is inherent in the answers that we give - "this is because of what Hashem did for me when I left Egypt." Many mitzvos are "zeicher litziyas Mitzrayim" - in remembrance of the Exodus from Egypt. These range from the first of the Aseres HaDibros (I am Hashem Who took you out of Egypt) to Shabbos to kriyat Shema.

A more down-to-Earth reason, however, is that Pesach has a long ceremony that kids are expected to sit through. Drawing their attention to all the things that are unusual about Pesach is a way of engaging them and keeping their interest.
