JV Elite Basketball
Rabbi Gary Beitler
Rabbi Gary Beitler has been teaching at MTA for the past six years. Prior to MTA, Rabbi Beitler had taught at the Rabbi Teitz Mesivta Academy in Elizabeth, NJ and Rambam Mesivta in Lawrence, NY. He received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Yeshiva College and received his rabbinic ordination from RIETS. Rabbi Beitler also underwent a two year course in mentoring from the Avi Chai Foundation.
At MTA, Rabbi Beitler serves as a 9th grade maggid shiur, as Dean of Students, and as the Athletic Director of the famed Lions athletics program. Concurrently, Rabbi Beitler oversees RIETS semicha students registered in the chinuch tracks, where he mentors and sharpens the teaching skills of these future mechanchim. He very much enjoys his time and the life long relationships he is able to forge with his talmidim.
Rabbi Beitler has coached in the Yeshiva League and JV and Varsity over ten years and led three different teams to the Championships. He has been the Athletic Director in Camp Mesorah for 12 years and is Currently the Athletic Director and the Dean of Students for MTA.
Rabbi Beitler is also the Head of Chinuch track in the YU Smicha Program, a9th Grade Rebbe and the Program Director of Camp ACH.
Dr. Sheba Beitler
Dr. Beitler played basketball for Stern College, was the Athletic Director For Camp Mesorah for 12 years and Created Basketball League for Girls in New Jersey ranging from ages 10-16.
Dr. Beitler is the Current Athletic Director of Camp Shira and has been a practicing Dentist for 16 years.
