The Ben Zakkai Honor Society awards many need-based scholarships every summer to teens attending NCSY Camp Sports and SEG Summer Programs.

All applicants who complete the on-line financial aid application are automatically considered for a Ben Zakkai Scholarship.  To receive consideration, applicants must make sure their on-line application is complete and must submit their most recent tax returns.

Applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis.  Note:  All scholarship decisions are solely determined by the Ben Zakkai Scholarship Committee. 

Eligibility:  Preference is given to public school or Yeshiva students who are board members or members of their local NCSY chapter.

 

 

 

 

 

The Ben Zakkai Honor Society is an alumni society whose members are nominated by, and voted on, by its current members based on the nominees’ service to NCSY and the Jewish community. The Society’s main function is to raise funds for scholarships for high school NCSYers for summer programs in North America and for their year of study Israel after graduation. The Ben Zakkai Honor Society is NCSY’s ‘Hall of Fame.’ For over 40 years, it has provided an opportunity to acknowledge NCSY graduates who have gone on to make a difference in Jewish communal life.
