1 (16 oz.) can red sour
pitted
cherries, or fresh cherries
2-3 peaches, sliced
2-3 plums, sliced
¼ c. lemon juice
¼ c. sugar
3 qt. water
2 tsp. vanilla or 1 pkg. vanilla sugar
Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
When removed from flame, add 2 teaspoons vanilla or I package vanilla
sugar. Delicious on a hot Shabbat afternoon!
