Thought of the
Week |
Though many of our rationalizations
may be true, they are not real truths to us as long as we are
employing them as rationalizations.

Trivia Question |
|
Q. Besides an eye for an eye and a tooth for a
tooth (which is not to be taken literally), what else is for an
eye or a tooth? |

Last Week's Answer |
Q. 1 in 4 - twice; 4 in 1 - once; 1 in 1 - four
times. Explain.
A. The Aseret HaDibrot. The first commandment is contained in one
pasuk. So too commandments 3, 5, and 10. That makes 1 in 1
- four times.
The second and fourth commandment are each 1 in 4, i.e. one
commandment in four p'sukim each.
And commandments 6, 7, 8, and 9 are all in one pasuk - 4 in 1. |
