In the fall of 1991, the Western Hostages in Lebanon were freed. Israel helped to bring about their release, hoping to bring the Israeli hostages home, too, yet the four were left behind and are still being held captive. We continue to ask you to write to your representatives in Washington urging that every avenue be pursued on their behalf. We also urge you to call on the President and the Secretary of State to intensify their efforts to secure the freedom of Israel's MIA's, especially now as international press has increased on Syria and Lebanon.

Guy Chever, an IDF soldier, was last seen at his base in the Golan Heights on August17, 1997. Dressed in his uniform and carrying his military identification papers, he disappeared without a trace and is still missing to date.
