How to Apply

Internships are available to college students entering their junior or senior year. All applications must be submitted electronically through this website by February 15, 2006. The following items are necessary to apply and, unless otherwise noted, should be submitted electronically along with the online application. Please see the online application for additional information about each of these components:

  • Completed online application form
  • Resume
  • One page essay (see application for topic)
  • Two letters of recommendation (to be mailed, on official letterhead)
  • $35 Application Fee

Interviews

As part of the application process, candidates for the OU-IPA Internship must complete an interview process. Interviews will be conducted by the IPA Associate Director and by a member of the Internship Committee in Washington and New York in February and March. As application numbers warrant, interviews may also be conducted in Philadelphia and Boston. All application materials (completed application, resume, letters of reference and essay) must be received by the IPA office in Washington prior to being interviewed.
