The light of Torah continues to shine in the land of Israel.  The Orthodox Union & the Rabbinical Council of America are proud to introduce a selection of young North Americans studying Torah in Israel this year.  Let's salute their joy and dedication for Am Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael, and most of all, Torat Yisrael.

We are privileged to present a D'var Torah by Rabbi Aaron Rakeffet-Rothkoff, one of Israel's most popular scholars and teachers of Torah, on the nature of Chanukah as expressed in our faith, our people and the land of Israel.
