Here Is the Upcoming Schedule for the OU’s Take Five for Torah Program
November 25 – December 7, 2005

Rabbis of Orthodox Union synagogues all over North America are sharing their wisdom with a worldwide audience as part of the Take Five for Torah program, available on the OU website, www.ou.org.

Upcoming Torah Programs:

  • Rabbi Yehoshua Grunstein of the Beth Israel Synagogue, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Friday, November 25 on “Understanding Havdalah;”
     
  • Rabbi Simcha J. Cohen of Aitz Chaim Congregation in West Palm Beach, Fl, Tuesday, November 29 will begin a three-part series on “Halachic Questions & Answers--My Response.”
     
  • Rabbi Nosson Kaiser of Etz Chaim Synagogue in Jacksonville, Fl on Monday, November 30, “Developing Positive Middot, (personal attributes), through the Torah portion of Toldot;”
     
  • Rabbi Eliezer Gurkow of Congregation Beth Tefilah London, Ontario, Wednesday, December 5 will begin a four-part series on “The Obligation of Women in Torah”; and
     
  • Rabbi Shmuel Herzfeld of Ohev Shalom Talmud Torah Congregtion-The National Synagogue Washington, D.C. will begin “A Work on Your Middot Series”- Five minute middot, pep talks based on Mesilat Yesharim, Path of the Just, a masterwork by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto,
