Following Completion Of Tractate Eruvin, OU to Conduct Queens Daf Yomi Siyum
at Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, January 18

As part of its program of conducting a siyum following completion of each tractate in the Daf Yomi program, the Department of Community and Synagogue Services of the Orthodox Union, in cooperation with more than 25 participating area synagogues, will present a Queens Daf Hayomi Community Siyum to mark completion of Masechet Eruvin.

The siyum will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, 150-05 70th Road, following ma’ariv at 7:15 p.m. Refreshments will be served. There will be no charge for the event.

HaRav Betzalel Rudinsky, Rav of the Agudah of Wesley Hills and Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshivas Ohr Reuven in Monsey/Suffern, NY, will address the gathering and provide words of blessing and strength.

The evening is open to both men and women and to participants and non-participants in the Daf Yomi program. A video of the event will be available soon afterwards on the OU website, www.ou.org.

The OU’s three-part summary of the event is “Honor those who learn, applaud those who teach, celebrate with everyone.”

Every day throughout the Daf Yomi cycle – via podcast, downloading, and streaming – the OU presents Rabbi Moshe Elefant’s Daily Daf on www.ou-dafyomi.org, to large audiences tuning in not only from North America, Israel and Europe, but from remote locations such as Gibraltar, South Korea and Australia.

For further information about attending the Queens siyum or adding your synagogue to the list of participants, contact Rabbi Robert Shur at roberts@ou.org or 212-613-8329.
