Young Leadership Supports Yachad, Celebrates Twentieth Anniversary
Young leaders had an opportunity to mix and mingle at
the Carriage House in Manhattan last week, while at the same time
supporting the Orthodox Union’s extraordinary Yachad program for people
with developmental disabilities.
The event was held in celebration of Yachad’s twentieth birthday. Yachad,
the flagship program of the OU’s National Jewish Council for
Disabilities (NJCD), provides unique social, educational and
recreational programs for individuals with learning, developmental and
physical disabilities.

(l-r) Melissa Zimmern and Orlee Zorbaron, members of the Young
Leadership Events Committee; Elaine Grossman, the event coordinator and
Director of Development for Yachad; and Jason Lieberman, Director of
Community and Government Relations for Yachad enjoy the celebration.

A birthday cake tops off the celebration for Yachad.
