Grateful Job Seeker Thanks the OU's Online Job Bank

Thanks to the Orthodox Union's online Job Bank at www.ou.org people have been successful at finding work. The OU launched the Job Bank in a response to the extremely high unemployment rates, which have hit the Jewish community particularly hard.

One visitor to the site was able to find employment after a long search. He wrote: "I would like to take this opportunity to express my Hakaras HaTov (thanks) to the OU. After five months of hard searching, Baruch HaShem (thank G-d) I found a job through the OU's website in the Job Bank! I just want to share with the OU that their efforts are very much appreciated and that without this service I do not know where I would be today. After months of searching, I found an incredible job at an incredible company. Working for a frum (religious) company is a reward in itself. I would just like to end off with a bracha (blessing) for the Job Department and for the OU: May HaShem (G-d) continue to allow the OU to help the Jewish people in all aspects of life from Torah to parnassah (income), and that their efforts should be cherished and appreciated by all. Thank you."

OU's online Job Bank features a wide variety of listings catering to a broad array of job seekers. Categories range from health care to computers and technology; from accounting and bookkeeping to Jewish education and rabbinics. The Job Bank is updated frequently with new listings that come in from a variety of sources. The online Job Bank is one aspect of the OU's response to the unemployment situation, which also includes workshops for those looking for work.

The Orthodox Union, now in its second century of service to the Jewish community of North America and beyond, is a world leader in community and synagogue services, adult education, youth work through NCSY, political action through the IPA, and advocacy for persons with disabilities through Yachad and Our Way.
