A Day at Chelsea Piers:
GOLDMAN SACHS AND OU’S YACHAD JOIN UP FOR A DAY IN THE SUN

Members of Yachad, an Orthodox Union program for the developmentally disabled, were recent guests of the New York brokerage firm Goldman Sachs at Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River.

According to Dr. Jeff Lichtman, National Director of the National Jewish Council for the Disabled, “Chelsea Piers is a wonderful opportunity to bring so many different facets of our mission together. It provides a culminating activity for members who participate in our Relationship Building Course, one of our social skills training programs. It brings us into the community and gives us the opportunity to educate the larger community as to the ability of our people.”

Among the day’s activities, the group took a boat ride around Manhattan followed by bowling and pizza.
