MIAMI BEACH NCSY EXPANDS TEEN PROGRAMMING BEGINNING FALL SEMESTER
Miami Beach Jewish teens have a lot to look forward to this year as Southern Region NCSY launches three exciting and meaningful initiatives in the area. Beginning September, NCSY will host its popular “Latte & Learning” program on the beach; revamp the Jewish culture club at Miami Beach Senior High School; and partner with the Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy (RASGHA) to increase student extra-curricular activities.

“As international leaders in the field of informal Jewish education, our dynamic NCSY staff looks forward to engaging teens in the Miami Beach area with cool and innovative Jewish experiences,” says Todd Cohn, Executive Director of Southern NCSY.
“Latte & Learning” at the beach is sure to add another dimension for fun and relaxation for NCSY’s internationally run program for both yeshiva day school and public school teens to meet for schmoozing and a short Torah discussion.
NCSY will also be revitalizing the Jewish culture club at Miami Beach High, allowing public school teens to constantly meet and socialize with other Jewish teens, in addition to participating in fun recreational activity.
In teaming up with the RASG, “I am confident that NCSY will develop and implement programs that are exactly what our community needs,” says RASGHA President Leah Klein of Miami Beach. “Youth group activities were the most influential experiences in my life growing up, and we are thrilled to have NCSY as an active partner with us for our children.”
The goal of these programs is to maximize Jewish experiences for teens from RASGHA and other local private and public schools in the Greater Miami Beach area. Miami Beach has one of the longest standing histories with Southern NCSY and continues to produce top-of-the-line leaders within the Jewish community.
