“We are hoping to have strong cross-denominational community support for this event and look forward to continuing to serve San Diego's Jewish teens,” declared Rabbi Adam Simon, Director of San Diego JSU.
The Moshav Band's music is rich with fiery rock/folk/reggae songs, spiced with the flavors of the Middle East. Band members were born and raised on Moshav Me'or (or Mevo) Modi'in in Israel's Judean Hills, which was founded by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, who was their spiritual mentor and deeply influenced their music style.

Tickets are available for $25, $40 and $55, with a student discount ticket price available of $20. Sponsorship packages are also available.
JSU is a non-denominational organization formed in 2002 with the goal of helping Jewish Teens in public schools to facilitate Jewish clubs in their school. Since that time, JSU has grown tremendously, with clubs in over 220 schools in North America and servicing over 9,000 teens annually. JSU seeks to enhance teens’ Jewish identity, nurture a connection to the State of Israel, inspire an enduring relationship with the Jewish people and provide for a deeper involvement with the Jewish community by serving as a portal to facilitate life-long involvement in Jewish inspired expression and organizations.
