Sessions led by Rabbi Menachem Genack, Rabbi Dr. Ari Zivotofsky, Dr. Ari Greenspan and Rabbi Dr. Seth Mandel including: Demos of simanei kashrut; the possible mesorah of giraffe, swan, peacock, buffalo and other exotic animals; the integrity of the kosher meat supply chain followed by an extraordinary halachic and gastronomic event at Prime Grill Restaurant (5:45-10:00 pm).

This unusual educational event will be like nothing you have ever experienced or tasted. Explore the mesorah of and taste a 15-course dinner including exotic and rare kosher items such as quail, red deer, fleishig eggs, shibuta, bison, udder and more. Each course in this 4-5 hour special event will be accompanied with a fascinating short movie, slide show or talk describing the Halachic issues and the Jewish customs from around the world.

Monday, August 6 - Herzog Wine Cellars
Kashrut Professionals, OU Synagogue Rabbis & Rabbinic Students

A review of the history and methods of kosher wine and grape juice production. Philip Herzog, President of Royal Wine, and Joe Hurliman, Herzog's Chief Wine Maker, will share their experience in the halachic and technical aspects of making kosher wine and grape juice. Take a special conducted ground level tour of the new winery, including cellar and barrel room.

The Tierra Sur Restaurant at Herzog Wine Cellars will offer a special menu for lunch at a reduced rate of $25 (gratuity included).
