Liver transplant desperately needed for Dr. Michael Harris, chief of
pediatrics hematology at Hackensack University Medical Center and a member of Congregation Ahavat Torah, Englewood, N.J.

He contracted hepatitis C from a needle stick while treating one of his
pediatric cancer patients. He needs a cadaver liver blood type A or O.

The Halachot of donating organs are complex. A competent Posek must be contacted prior to any donation decision.
