Rabbi Weil to Present OU Weekend in Livingston, This Shabbat

RABBI STEVEN WEIL, OU EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TO PRESENT OU WEEKEND IN LIVINGSTON, THIS SHABBAT

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will present an OU Weekend in Livingston this Shabbat, October 4-5 (Parshat Noach) at the Suburban Torah Center, located at 85 West Mount Pleasant Avenue.

The OU member synagogue is led by Rabbi Elie Mischel.

At an oneg Friday night, Rabbi Weil will address “Two Greatest Challenges Facing Orthodox Communities in the 21st Century.” Shabbat morning, he will discuss “Putting the Fun in Dysfunctional.” Later in the afternoon before Mincha, Rabbi Weil will present “The Architectural Blueprint: The Ramban’s Transformation of Sefer Bereishit.” Rabbi Weil will also speak during the synagogue’s seudah shlishit, on “The Wandering Jew.”

“Rabbi Weil’s experience as a pulpit Rabbi—on the local level—and at the Orthodox Union—nationally—gives him a unique perspective on the issues confronting Judaism in America today,” noted Rabbi Mischel. “We’re looking forward to an insightful and inspiring Shabbat!”
