Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will serve as Scholar-in-Residence this Shabbat, October 19, Parshat Vayeira, at the Young Israel of Woodmere. The synagogue is located at 859 Peninsula Boulevard.
Rabbi Weil will give the morning drasha, “Putting the Fun in Dysfunctional: An OU Survey Analyzing the State of The Jewish Family.” He will speak again before Mincha on “The Greatest Challenges Facing Orthodox Jewry in the 21st Century.” His final presentation, between Mincha and Maariv, will be “The Architectural Blueprint of Jewish History: Ramban’s Methodology of Sefer Bereishis.”
