OU’s Rabbi & Mrs. Weil to be Palm Beach Scholars-in-Residence, 3/15-16

RABBI STEVEN AND MRS. YAEL WEIL TO SERVE AS OU SCHOLARS-IN-RESIDENCE IN PALM BEACH, MARCH 15-16

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil and Mrs. Yael Weil will serve as Scholars-in-Residence at Palm Beach Synagogue from Friday, March 15-Saturday, March 16 (Shabbat Parshat Vayikra).

The OU member synagogue is located at 120 North County Road.

Friday night Rabbi Weil will speak at a special dinner at the synagogue, discussing, “An Exalted Evening.” He will speak Shabbat morning around 11:00 a.m. during morning services, on “Pay Me Now Or Pay Me Later.” There will be a kiddish at the synagogue following services at 12 noon, at which Rabbi Weil will address, “So Strange a Choice.”

Mrs. Weil will present “The Redeeming Qualities of the Women in Egypt.”

“Rabbi Weil’s visit to Palm Beach Synagogue is an annual highlight. His warmth and stimulating talk are always uplifting and inspire us to delve deeper into our Judaism and heighten our spiritual consciousness,” said Rabbi Moshe Scheiner, rabbi of Palm Beach synagogue.
