OU’s Rabbi Weil to Spend OU Community Weekend in Aventura, February 7-8

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will be leading an OU Community Weekend at the Young Israel of Aventura from Friday, February 7 – Saturday, February 8 (Shabbat Parshat Tetzaveh).

The OU member synagogue is located at 3575 NE 207th St. Store B4. Friday night dinner will be taking place at the China Bistro Restaurant at the Waterways, 3565 NE 207th St.

After Friday night dinner, Rabbi Weil will be delivering his presentation on the topic “After the Pew.” On Shabbat morning, he will be delivering his sermon “Men Are From Mars, Women From Venus–The Orthodox Version.” During lunch Rabbi Weil will be speaking about “The Great Psychologist.” For seudah shlishit he will be presenting “The Function and Purpose of the Kohen.”

Rabbi Chaim Albert shared, “We are most excited to welcome Rabbi Weil, a leader of the American modern Orthodox movement, to inspire our community.”
