OUR WAY OF MARYLAND TO PRESENT VIDEOS ‘WORRY’ AND ‘EXODUS,’ ABOUT HOW DEAF PEOPLE SURVIVED THE HOLOCAUST, AUGUST 10, IN BALTIMORE

Our Way of Maryland will host two video presentations, “Worry” and “Exodus” in sign, voice and caption about deaf people and how they survived the Holocaust. They will be shown on Sunday, August 10 from 1-2 p.m. at a private residence in Baltimore. There will be no charge.

Our Way is a program of Yachad | Jewish Disabilities Integration, and the agency of the Orthodox Union for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Our Way Director Rabbi Eliezer Lederfeind declared, “This is a very unique aspect of the Holocaust. Deaf people were double victims – the fact that some survived was nothing less than miraculous. This is a whole new chapter of what happened during the Holocaust.”
