OU SINGLES CONNECTION PRESENTS AN EVENING OF STAND-UP COMEDY WITH VINCE DANTONA, D.F.SWEEDLER, AND MIKE KING, SATURDAY NIGHT OCTOBER 24 AT KJ

Tired of the same old, boring singles events? How about meeting your match while laughing out loud? That’s right! In An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy, presented by the OU’s Singles Connection in conjunction with Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun, prospective matches will hit it off while being entertained by comedians – Vince Dantona, D.F. Sweedler and Mike King.

The event is open to singles in their 20’s and 30’s. It will take place on Saturday night, October 24, 8:30 p.m. at KJ, 125 East 85th Street. A desert reception will “sweeten” this evening of fun.

“Our comedy night last year was well received by so many young men and women, who are requesting another evening of top comics. The evening’s entertainers have established themselves in the field of comedy,” declared Frank Buchweitz, National Direction of OU Community Services and Special Projects.

Vince Dantona, comedian and ventriloquist, has appeared on numerous television shows, including Comedy Central, Good Morning America, the Joan Rivers Show, and Comedy Tonight. He was an opening act for Little Anthony and the Imperials, and Boyz II Men.

D.F. Sweedler has appeared on The Today Show, Comedy Central, Dangerfield’s, The Comedy Store, and has been a contributing writer for The Late Show with David Letterman. He is also the house comedian and M.C. at the Comic Strip in New York.

Mike King has been recognized by The New York Times as one of the best and brightest New York comics. He appeared on Evening at the Improv and Comedy Central.
