OU JOB BOARD ANNOUNCES HIGHLY-SUCCESSFUL RESULTS OF JERUSALEM JOB FAIR
Action at the OU Job Fair in Jerusalem.
Michael Rosner, Director of the OU Job Board | Employment and Resumé Opportunities who organized a Job Fair in Jerusalem late last month, today announced that a total of 424 people out of 600 job seekers at the Fair were either interviewed, placed or have scheduled second interviews.
He declared, “With about fifty percent of the employers reporting in, the statistics are as follows: 215 interviews were given based upon resumés collected at the Job Fair, resulting in the immediate hiring of 34 people, and 175 individuals being considered for a second interview and possible hire. An incredible 70 percent of the people who attended demonstrated how direct contact with the employers produces results. “
He also noted, “The numbers are truly amazing. The Job Fair was a fantastic opportunity and we look forward to repeating this event during 2013 in both Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv.”
The Job Fair was for both native speakers of English and Hebrew.
