RABBANIT HENKIN TO SPEAK AT OU WOMEN’S TORAH NETWORK ON ‘WOMEN IN RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP: CONTEMPORARY CONTROVERSIES,’ JANUARY 16 AT YULA GIRLS SCHOOL

The Women’s Torah Network of the West Coast Region of the Orthodox Union will present Rabbanit Chana Henkin, addressing the subject of “Women in Religious Leadership: Contemporary Controversies,” a full morning of chevruta learning, lecture and discussion.

The session will take place Sunday, January 16 from 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at YULA Girls School, 1619 South Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles. Continental breakfast will be served.

According to Rabbi Alan Kalinsky, Director of the West Coast Region, “Rabbanit Henkin is one of today’s most acclaimed Jewish educators, known worldwide for opening the highest reaches of Torah to women.” She holds an Honorary Doctorate from Yeshiva University and is Dean and Founder of Nishmat, The Jeanie Schottenstein Center for Advanced Torah Study for Women.
