EVERYONE LOVES A PARADE, PARTICULARLY IF IT’S TO CELEBRATE ISRAEL, AND THE OU IS OUT IN FORCE
In perfect weather, and with the necessary supply of ruach, excitement and energy, a delegation close to 500 strong from the Orthodox Union marched up Fifth Avenue for the annual Celebrate Israel (formerly, Salute to Israel) Parade. Highlights of OU participation included:

The OU turnout was a multi-generational effort.
A colorful float led participants up the Avenue. The slogan emphasizes the “Three Pillars” of the OU’s work: Community, NextGen, and of course, Israel.
Yachad members and advisors were a major component of the OU turnout.
Cheering crowds lined the streets as the OU delegation marched northward.
