OU Israel Free Spirit and Birthright Israel Host Summer Registration Kick-Off, 2/10 in NYC

06 Feb 2013

ISRAEL FREE SPIRIT, TAGLIT-BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH JERUSALEMONLINEU.COM, KICKS OFF SUMMER 2013 REGISTRATION WITH NEW YORK EVENT FEATURING NEIL LAZARUS & ISRAEL INSIDE SCREENING

Israel Free Spirit (IFS), the popular 10-day Orthodox Union free trip to Israel in conjunction with the Taglit-Birthright Israel Program, announces its registration kickoff event, Sunday February 10 in New York. The event, in partnership with JerusalemOnlineU.com, will feature Neil Lazarus, a highly popular speaker to Birthright audiences, and a screening of the short film Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference.

It will be held from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Manhattan Jewish Experience, 131 West 86th Street.

The exclusive event for IFS alumni and their friends comes three days before registration for the Summer 2013 trips opens for new applicants (Wednesday, February 13) and the day before registration begins for past applicants (Monday, February 11). Taglit-Birthright Israel trips allow Jewish young adults to experience Israel for themselves, beyond what they see in the media. Similarly, Neil Lazarus humorously and effectively provides the latest Israeli politics update, including the 2013 elections and the truth about what the media says about events in the Middle East.

Israel Free Spirit alumni will relive their favorite Birthright memories and help connect their friends to the experience. It is a way to meet up with old friends and to make new ones, hear a fascinating speaker from Israel, and to further increase their love for Israel through viewing Israel Inside.

Space is limited. RSVP {encode=”mailto:michelle@israelfreespirit.com” title=”michelle@israelfreespirit.com”}. For more information on Israel Free Spirit programs, visit www.israelfreespirit.com.
