The Orthodox Union Singles Connection, in partnership with North Shore University Hospital and the Young Israel of New Hyde Park, will present a Chessed Chagigah for singles over 35. It will be held on Sunday, March 30 at 6:00 p.m. at the Young Israel of New Hyde Park, 264-15 77th Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040.
Acts of loving-kindness and fun will be combined in one event. “Participants will enjoy an entertaining evening with a delicious dairy buffet while they work together to prepare Passover packages for patients at North Shore University Hospital,” noted Rebbetzin Judi Steinig, OU associate director of Community Services, who is coordinating the event. “They will have the opportunity to meet each other and socialize while doing a valuable mitzvah.”
Space is limited and advance registration is required. Admission is $36 by March 23 and $45 after that date.
