MESSAGE BY NCSY AND THE ORTHODOX UNION TO PARENTS REGARDING SAFETY OF TEENS WHO ARE IN ISRAEL
NOW ON SUMMER PROGRAMS

The following message was sent Thursday by the National Conference of Synagogue Youth of the Orthodox Union to parents of young men and women now in Israel for NCSY summer programs:

As we join together in prayer for a quick and peaceful resolution to the current conflicts in Israel and for the safe return of the soldiers being held captive, NCSY and the Orthodox Union reassert that the safety and security of our children and staff traveling with us in Israel continue to be our first and foremost concern.

All of our travel in Israel is coordinated in collaboration with the Sochnut (Jewish Agency) and the Israeli Army. Though the Sochnut assures the continued safety of our program and itinerary, when deemed necessary additional precautions may be made by rerouting activities currently scheduled to take place in various sections of the country. Assuredly, we are closely monitoring the situation in Israel on a minute-to-minute basis and will continue to make decisions with safety and security holding primary importance.
