From Tu B’Shevat to Shavuot,OU Radio Presents Rabbi Weinreb’s Holiday Lecture Series,Starting Jan 31

FROM TU B’SHEVAT TO SHAVUOT, OU RADIO TO PRESENT RABBI WEINREB’S HOLIDAY LECTURE SERIES,
STARTING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31

In the spirit of the upcoming special days on the Jewish calendar, from Tu B’Shevat which falls on this Saturday, February 3, to Shavuot in May, the Orthodox Union’s Executive Vice President Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, will present a series of ten lectures to offer psychological perspectives on the holiday period. In addition to being a renowned rabbi, Rabbi Weinreb also practiced clinical psychology for many years.

The recorded lectures will be posted on the OU website, www.ou.org, and on OU Radio, www.ouradio.org.

“These lectures will follow the style of my Tisha B’Av presentations. I will draw from a wide number of Torah and secular sources and relate them to our everyday experience,” declared Rabbi Weinreb.

Listeners will also enjoy Rabbi Weinreb’s five-minute discourse on a famous Jewish personality that will accompany each lecture.
