OU ISRAEL PRESENTS SECOND L’AYLA’S WOMEN’S MISSION TO ISRAEL FEBRUARY 19-28, IN CONTINUING INITIATIVES FOR WOMEN’S INTERESTS

Orthodox women from all over the world are invited to a unique opportunity to experience Israel unlike they ever have before, to rejuvenate their minds and re-energize their souls. For one week, give yourself a gift that will remain for a lifetime — a customized itinerary for women’s interests that will focus on one’s own personal spiritual growth, while experiencing some of the finest luxuries in Eretz Yisrael with a fantastic group of women.

The second L’Ayla’s Women’s Mission to Israel, coordinated with the Orthodox Union Seymor J. Abrams Jerusalem World Center, will take place from Sunday, February 19- Tuesday, February 28. Women who live in Israel are also welcome to be part of the trip. Linda S. Elman, of Baltimore, is Chairwoman of the program.

The L’Ayla program, with its motto of “Reaching higher… together,” is based in Jerusalem, and focuses on providing women with opportunities for meaningful learning and social experiences, in conjunction with OU Israel.

Mrs. Rivka Segal, coordinator of the L’Ayla Program, noted that “Last year’s trip was a fantastic success and we are so excited to present our second Women’s Mission to Israel. Our Chair, Linda S. Elman, is a real model of Ahavat Yisrael and Ahavat Eretz Yisrael, and will ensure that everyone is well taken care of. Participants will return with a much deeper love of Eretz Yisrael, Klal Yisrael and Torah, and with many new friends. We are confident that this trip will make a positive impact on the lives of those who participate, as this will truly be an unforgettable and inspirational experience that will last a lifetime.”

Rabbi Avi Berman, Executive Director of OU Israel, shared, “After seeing the itinerary and knowing Mrs. Rivka Segal, I have no doubt that any woman who decides to join this fantastic mission will come back rejuvenated and more inspired than ever.”

Mrs. Segal also noted that a highlight of the program will be inspiring meetings with individuals who are making a real difference for the Jewish people, and classes given by great teachers in Israel including Mrs. Shira Smiles, Rabbanit Yemima Mizrachi, Rabbi Sholom Gold, and Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz.
