Volunteer and Donor Opportunities in Response to Hurricane Sandy

Take Action. We need volunteers for hands-on support for the following:

Items Drive: Hurricane victims are in need of the following items in great demand:
– Bottled water
– NEW blankets
– Paper goods such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
– Cleaning products
– Flashlights and lanterns
– Batteries – AA, C, D
– Non-perishable foods (preferably kosher) such as cereals, cans, etc
Unfortunately, we cannot accept perishable foods that need refrigeration or used clothing and blankets.

Manhattan: – 11/5 to 11/9, 9am to 6pm at 171 Lexington Avenue (by 28th), New York, NY 10016.
– 11/7 to 11/9, 9am to 6pm at 351 East 61st Street (by 1st Ave), New York, NY 10065.
Brooklyn: -Ongoing at Trump Warbasse Recovery Center at 2770 West 5th street, Coney Island NY 11224.
– 11/5 to 11/8, 10am to 9pm at Masbia- 1372 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11230 (COLLECTING PROPANE ONLY).
Staten Island:- Ongoing at Staten Island JCC Pantry, 1466 Manor Road, Staten Island NY 10314.
