Mindful of the significant impact Hurricane Sandy has wrought on our communities in New Jersey and New York, the OU is announcing the postponement of its “Week of Action Convention 2012” which was to principally take place in Trenton, NJ and New York City in two weeks (Nov. 14-18), as well as the Convention Shabbat (Nov. 16-18).

These important events of advocacy for the OU community’s needs will be rescheduled for a date in early 2013.

The events in Pennsylvania and Texas are to take place as planned.

In the interim, the thoughts and prayers of the OU are for the welfare of all those affected by the storm’s impact.
