Mr family lived in the apartment building at 701 Empire Blvd. In the first private house next to our building lived the Rabbi from the Wall Street Synagogue. He had a shul in the basement of his house.
My family was the founders of two orthodox shuls in Brooklyn: The Bristol Street Shul and Congegation Petrekoff Anshe Sward both in Brownsville.
