I am sure he will greatly enhance our community's Shabbat -- and will also help us to better understand some of the issues facing today's Orthodox youth; help us to gain a new perspective on Chanukah; as well as to enlighten us regarding the recent surge in popularity of Breslov Chasidism.”
He also emphasized, “As an OU member synagogue, we have always felt appreciative of the Orthodox Union. However, it is Shabbatons like this one that really help us feel part of a larger network of synagogues, and also to gain a better appreciation for some of the great work the OU does. On behalf of Kesher Israel Congregation, I thank the OU for its on-going efforts on our behalf.”
