As part of NAIM, the North American Inclusion Month this coming February, we are offering a workshop (Middle School and High School levels) to help sensitize students to a variety of learning challenges that their peers may be experiencing. The workshop consists of stations that mirror the disability for the students and include discussion questions for each station. I have attached the brief outline of the station topics. The workshop as a whole unit should take about 90 minutes, or you can choose which stations you want to include for your students and which stations to delete. We envisioned the students going in small groups from station to station, but most can be done as large groups for the class as a whole.
