Purity Matters

On the eighth day, the zavah shall bring two birds, one as a chatas (sin offering) and one as an olah (burnt offering), and then she’ll be clean.
G-d told Moshe to warn the Jews to be careful about their ritual purity. To disregard their impurity and defile the Temple (or Tabernacle) could lead to disastrous results.
