Rabbi Jonathan Rosenberg

    Rabbi Jonathan Rosenberg is a native of Columbus, Ohio and a graduate of Columbus Torah Academy.  He attended Ner Israel Rabbinical College for High School, as well as for his Rabbinic training.  Rabbi Rosenberg received his ordination from the late renowned “Gaon” Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, zt"l, in June of 1986.  He then went on to study at Yeshivas Mir in Jerusalem.  For his post graduate studies, Rabbi Rosenberg attended the Talmudic University of Florida in Miami, and received a second ordination from Rabbi Yochanon Zweig. 


In 1992, Rabbi Rosenberg assumed the full capacity of pulpit rabbi at Congregation Ahavas Sholom.  Upon his arrival, he placed a very strong emphasis on adult Jewish education.  He presently gives five weekly classes on various topics, ranging from Bible to Talmud, Halacha and Jewish Philosophy.  Rabbi Rosenberg has lectured at National Jewish conventions, and has served as a scholar in residence in various synagogues in the United States.

 


Rabbi Rosenberg resides in Bexley with his wife, Aviva and their five children.
