Rabbi Reuven Spolter

Raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Rabbi Reuven Spolter attended Yeshivat Sha’alvim in Israel for two years after High School. After completing a degree in computer science from Yeshiva University’s Yeshiva College, Rabbi Spolter continued his studies at Yeshiva both at the Azrieli Graduate School for Jewish Education and Administration, and at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, earning a Masters Degree in Jewish Education in 1998 and rabbinical ordination in 1997.


Rabbi Spolter is currently the spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Oak Park, in Oak Park, MI. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America, is a member of the Council of Orthodox Rabbis of Detroit, the Michigan Board of Rabbis, and co-chaired the national convention of the National Council of Young Israel, and will appear as a presenter at the OU’s upcoming conference in Milwaukee.
