Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld

Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld is the Assistant Rabbi at Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills. He studied at Kerem B’Yavneh in Israel, followed by the Beth Medrash Gevoah in New Jersey. In 1981, he received semicha there from Rabbi Shneur Kotler. Rabbi Schonfeld also completed graduate work in Holocaust Studies at Touro College.

In addition, Rabbi Schonfeld is a Rabbinic Coordinator/ Group Leader for the Orthodox Union Kashrut division.
