ORTHODOX UNION APPLAUDS INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING NORTH AMERICAN INCLUSION MONTH
The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America applauded the introduction of H.RES. 1014 in the House of Representatives, a resolution recognizing February as North American Inclusion Month. North American Inclusion Month aims to increase public awareness of the life circumstances of individuals with disabilities, and the need for increased employment opportunities, better special education and increased inclusion of these individuals on the family, communal and national levels. H. Res. 1014 was introduced in the House by Congressman Edolphus Towns, Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
