OU’s Rabbi Weil to Visit Bal Harbour as Scholar-in-Residence, 1/18-19

RABBI STEVEN WEIL, OU EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TO VISIT BAL HARBOUR AS SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE, JANUARY 18-19

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will visit the Bal Harbour Jewish Community to serve as Scholar–in-Residence from Friday, January 18-Saturday, January 19 (Shabbat Parshat Bo).

The synagogue is located at 9592 Harding Avenue in Surfside.

Shabbat morning, Rabbi Weil will deliver a presentation “Don’t Jew Me.” Rabbi Weil will also speak during seudat shlishit (the third meal on Shabbat), addressing “The Two Most Powerful Women in Jewish History.” On Saturday night, Rabbi Weil will address “Two Greatest Challenges Facing Orthodox Jewry in the 21st Century.”
