Yachad to Celebrate the Fourth of July with Spectacular Fireworks Cruise
As evening approaches, the Royal Princess will embark from West 23rd Street at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan beneath the sunset for a sail down the Hudson River. The yacht boasts three grand decks, an unobstructed view of the dazzling fireworks in the sky, a dining level, and a delicious menu which will be under OU supervision. The highlight, not surprisingly, will be enjoying the Macy’s fireworks show under the stars.
Yachad, the flagship division of the Orthodox Union’s National Jewish Council for Disabilities (NJCD), provides unique social, educational and recreational programs of inclusion for its members.
“To be on the water on the Fourth of July is absolutely breathtaking,” declared Mr. Steven Spira, Chairman of the Yachad Board. He described last year’s cruise, which had an excellent turnout, as a “spectacular” event. “This is certainly a wonderful opportunity that people will not want to miss to celebrate the Fourth of July while supporting the work of Yachad.”
Boarding starts at 7:00 p.m. with sailing from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $250 with space limited to 180 people. Advance reservations are required. For more details, contact Elaine Grossman at 212-613-8350 or email@example.com.
